Freedom Makeup Black Arts Palette

Hello lovelies,

You know that feeling you get as you browse an online shop and see a really affordable product? You think ooh that's cheap I'll buy that yet at the same time you have this feeling it'll befit the price you paid?

Well fear not my friends! I have a palette today that is not only cheap as chips but is absolutely fantastic!

I'm talking about the Freedom Makeup Black Arts palette! You can read my haul post here and watch my haul video here.

Packaging is very iPad-esque with the shadows set in a plastic case with a leather lid to cover them and an elastic band to keep the lid in place.

This bad boy palette comes with 48 shadows with shades ranging from pale colours (white, cream), to neutrals (various taupe & brown) and deeper shades (black, blue, rust red) to add drama. The added bonus of having a mix of finishes (matte, shimmer, metallic) makes this palette a great allrounder.

The pigmentation is amazing, the colours are versatile and most of the shadows blend like a dream. As with all things some work better than others. The blue in the below swatch was disappointing but don't let that put you off trying this palette!

I did this look using the palette. You can see my tutorial here :)

What do you think of this palette?

Much Love,

Bex X
