Blogger Beauty Box Wins Again

Hello lovelies,

Today I'm excited to share my goodies from Februarys Blogger Beauty Box

This box is the brainchild of Vix from vixmeldrew. You can read about my previous boxes here and here.

Anyway I saw a tweet about the February box and as its been ages since I've had any kind of sub type box so I thought 'why not?'

selection of beauty goodies from the blogger beauty box

Ladies and gents it did not disappoint! This box was filled to the brim with stuff and I'll admit I did a happy dance when I saw what was included!

First up was this sleek looking DHC Mineral Mask. This clay marvel will draw out all those nasties under the skin and leave your face feeling like new! Loved using this and whilst it's a pricy product when compared to glamglow it kinda seems cheap 😉

I was really excited to see an eye makeup remover. This is the Bi-Phase Plus Eye Makeup Remover by Merumaya! I love how this one is gentle on the eye area with none of that scratchy feeling and it's hydrating too. I've been after a good one for ages and this was easy to use and got the job done!

I also got a bottle of the West Cost Face Bronzing Serum by Madam LA LA Tan. It's nice to see a fake tanner which focuses on the face and includes all those added goodies like vitamins A, C and E to ensure your skin is healthy and glowy.
What intrigues me about this product is that it adapts to your skin tone and gradually developes. I might get away with it as I'm a pale girl and don't really fake tan but I've decided to give this a whirl so wish me look! lol

The JR Naturorganics samples were gorgeous! I got the Mandarin & Chamomile Gentle Cleansing Milk and Hydrating Mist. Both smell nice and have really aided in my cleansing routine. I love that they are made in England, have no hidden nasties and are vegan friendly. I'm definitely trying more from this brand.

I was happy to see I got a gorgeous pair of lashes from Threads in the style Charleston which are a gorgeous dramatic style, though not too thick you can't see your eyeshadow 😄

Finally my last product is a beautiful red lippie from Puriskin by Vanessa Blake Cosmetics. I love that I got such a vibrant colour and what's interesting about this product is it's a lip treatment too, meaning you get all the goodness of vitamin E and jojoba oils with the added bonus of rocking a nice shade.
So not only do I get a soft kissable pout but the colour is ace too 😄

So that's my Blogger Beauty Box. Bit late getting this post out but I wanted to try some of my goodies first. Fancy trying your own box? Check out www.bloggerbeautybox.com and grab a bargain, this box was worth over £100 and I only paid £10. Oh and don't forget to give Vix and bloggerbeautybox a follow on Twitter 😄

What do you think of my bits and pieces?

Much love,

Bex x

Peel Off LipGloss Stain

Hello lovelies,

Today I thought I'd show how awesome the peel off lipgloss stain that I was sent by bornprettystore is! You can read my post on what I got here

Whilst I was gifted this item I'm under no obligation to write separate reviews on each product but it's such a cool concept I couldn't help myself! Lol

peel off lipgloss stain

The product itself comes in a regular plastic tube with a doe foot applicator.

The lip stain has a thick, slightly sticky consistency but glides on surprisingly well. I will say that you need to take your time on the lip line as you'll stain your skin otherwise. Lol. Takes less than a minute to set so it's not too time consuming for the busy gal or guy.

each stage of trying the peeloff lipgloss stain

As you can see from the above pics my lips don't have much colour and you can clearly see the difference between the top and bottom.

The formula is like using a peel off face mask. That stiff, plastic feeling once it sets and let me tell you, it's strangely satisfying to peel that sucker off ;)

The stain isn't perfect, it reminds me of when you ate a red ice lolly and it stained your lips yet this is all over. However it's a nice alternative to lipgloss or lipstick as once you peel off stain it's just your lips so you can add a lip balm on top and bob's your uncle, you're rocking a 'natural' pout.

Lasting time I'd say is a good few hours depending on your eating habits. If you're eating or wiping your mouth a lot it will fade quicker but this product is so cheap it's not a big deal to me.

Overall I'd say definitely give this a whirl, it's fun, it's harmless and who doesn't want a sexy pout on no makeup days. Lol

Want to try this out? Check out bornprettystore. They offer free shipping and if you enter code MTH10 you get 10% off your order :)

So what do you think? Do my lips look kissable? Lol

Much Love,

Bex x

* as stated above I was gifted this item but I wasn't obligated to write a post for each product. As always all thoughts are my own and my opinion was not hindered in any way.

Sally the UKBLOGGERS mascot pin!

Hello my lovelies,

Today's post is one I'm so excited to share with you and I'm sad it's taken me so long to write it but that illness a few weeks back is still kicking my arse!

Before I get into the fabulous Sally pin, brooch, badge I need to give you the story of how I found Sarah and the ukbloggers family.

Back in early 2015 I was new to pretty much the whole blogging and social media thang. Twitter was a baffling concept and I didn't know a tweet from a post but I wanted to find other people to engage with who knew what blogging entailed and could relate to me.

Then I found Twitter chats! This started a whole new experience for me. I was suddenly talking more to others, learning new things, finding new products, gaining followers and most importantly I was making friends. One of the chats I found was ukbloggers.

This chat was founded by the amazing Sarah from lifeinabreakdown who I'm happy to count as a friend. UKbloggers is a great place to have a giggle and it's not a niche focused chat so the more the merrier is the motto :D

After that, I joined the Facebook group which is great place to ask advice and see what's going on in general. Sarah set it up with various options to share posts, social media links and comments. It's s friendly page and I've learnt new things from the guys in that page.

Which brings me to the main focus of this post. Sarah has started selling ukbloggers merchandise and I'm beyond excited to share my new beauty with you guys!
Sally the dog is Sarah's own pooch and she's gorgeous! So of course a Sally silhouette was designed and I needed her!

Made by Funky Laser from a durable plastic with a gorgeous glitter reflect this pin is a bespoke design and the laser gives you a perfectly cut accessory. This pin is not only a cute addition to your outfit, to me it also represents family and friendship and that's what Sarah has created with ukbloggers. A family :)

You can also buy necklaces with various blogger quotes from ukbloggers, time for tea to buy now blog later plus different colours are available! They even have t-shirts now!
To make this even greater, all monies made goes back into ukbloggers to make the group even better! It's a win win all round :D

Want to check out the merch? Go to www.lifeinabreakdown.com/shop and give Sarah and ukbloggers some love. You can also check out ukbloggers on Twitter and Facebook :)

What do you think of Sally? Are you going to grab some pieces? Let me know!

Much Love,

Bex x
