Resolutions and making a change!

So it's just past midnight on the morning of New Year's Eve. I find myself reflecting on the past year (as we all do) and thinking of all the things I didn't try or finish. Which then gets me thinking about resolutions, namely for 2015. I want to make this year count! Be that with weight loss, exercise or even my job.
So that being said I've decided to write a blog (although I have no clue what I'm doing!) I'm going to document this year on a public platform (yikes) mostly about my weight loss journey but I do like chatting about other things so don't be alarmed if I waffle on about the latest marvel film or book im reading.
So here's me. I'm Bex and I'm 27 years old. I've been overweight since I left high school and got a job in retail (checkout girl) my downfall was all the offers. Buy one get one free, 2 for £3. You get my meaning. Plus actually having money to spend. Liberating but not great as I'm easily swayed. Sigh.
I've started changing my mindset about how I'm going to do this. Instead of the next fad, I'm  going to make small changes each week and turn my lifestyle around. It's going to be a long road but with support and commitment I'm determined to succeed!
So here's to a great year! I'll be back with my first week details after the celebrations. Happy New Year everybody!!

  1. FINALLY, someone else who sees the benefits of making small changes over time. I honestly never understand it when people make such extreme, sudden changes to their lifestyle because most of the time it's too much to uphold! I'm like you, I've seen slowly introducing new things into my diet, slowly adding more exercise into my routine and it's totally changed my mindset and I feel so much happier and healthier as a result!
eeeeep. I'm so happy you started this blog otherwise I would never have gotten to know how awesome you are! aha xxx
